Consequences of proper testing

Without a doubt, Ablatherm HIFU provides hope for many patients. But Ablatherm HIFU can only be truly effective on cancers which are still at the localised stage (see the "Ablatherm and you" section). Unfortunately, today too many patients only discover their illness when it has already reached an advanced stage of development. This not only often excludes these patients from being treated by Ablatherm HIFU, but also reduces their chances of recovery regardless of which treatment is used.
